A late 18th century, English Adams period, mahogany writing desk or console table, having a rectangular top, over a deeply fluted apron, featuring two fluted drawers with a centered carved tablet with urn and bell-flower swags. The table rests on four shaped Marlborough legs. Construction includes rose-head nails, indicating a date of circa 1790.
