1960s Daishin C.K. "Musical Jolly Chimp" Cymbal-Banging Monkey Toy

A vintage Musical Jolly Chimp toy produced by Daishin C.K. circa the 1960s. This soft toy depicts a monkey wearing a yellow vest and red striped pants, holding a pair of gold tone cymbals in its hands. The monkey is battery-operated, and is designed to clap the cymbals together, as well as screech and bare its teeth. The outside of the battery pack is marked ‘C.K. Made in Japan.’
