An original 1965 oil painting on board by listed artist Raymond Klee (20th century) titled Night Fishermen, Camargue, France. This painting depicts the sunrise over a body of water, upon which three fishermen are seen with nets and poles at the ready. The work is dark overall, with the sun radiating in tones of yellow, orange, and red, as its light expands to build the day. The painting is signed to lower right and is presented behind a neutral linen liner, mounted in a silvertone frame with hanging wire present to verso. It is titled, signed, and dated to the verso.
