A signed limited edition offset lithograph after an original painting by artist Alan Maley (1931-1995) titled The Promise. This work depicts a beautiful woman clad in an ornate striped dress as she stands outside of a bistro, her beau close behind her. The work is numbered 423/450, titled, and signed to lower margin, all in pencil. It is also signed and dated 1984 in plate. The print is mounted beneath dual layers of coordinating matting and is presented behind glass in a mottled bronze frame with hanging wire present to verso. Maley worked as a figure painter and set painter for Disney films like Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Please see link below for more information about this artist.
