An assortment of nine offset lithographs after original cat paintings by listed artist Girard Goodenow (1912 – 1984). The prints were published together under the title of Gallery of Cat Portraits as a special March 1965 section of Woman’s Day magazine. Featured full-color images include Persian, Manx, Silver Tabby, Siamese, Abyssinian, Himalayan, Burmese, Russian Blue and Domestic Shorthair. The prints are signed in plate by the artist and titled to the center, with text below reading ‘Original Oil Painting by Girard Goodenow, Woman’s Day, March 1965, Fawcett Publications’.
