Antique Eastlake Full Size Bed
Item Details
An antique Eastlake style full size bed. Includes a tall headboard with intricate cornice featuring dentil, scalloped and incised detailing. Includes a horizontal carved floral and foliate medallion to the top with alternating carved walnut and burl walnut veneer detailing and columnar sides. The alternating style of the headboard is continued in the footboard with both carved walnut and burl walnut veneer detailing. The piece features carved walnut side rails with carved spandrels. The bed rests on four bracket feet. The bed matches item numbers 16LEX265-042, 16LEX265-045 and 16LEX265-072. This dates the bed and all of the coordinating pieces to the late Victorian period of the late nineteenth century.

Condition
No chips noted in the carving or veneers. There are some scratches noted on the siderails and some discoloration on the siderails.
