Jordan Krimstein Original Signed Watercolor Landscapes

A pair of framed original 1990 watercolor landscape paintings on heavyweight rag watercolor paper by contemporary Chicago-based artist Jordan Krimstein, titled Sky Study #2 and Old Gold Mine. The paintings depict bright, minimalist capturings of Colorado landscapes, punctuated with layered mountains. The paintings are each signed, dated, and titled to the lower right in pencil. The first is also noted ‘To Marnette & Paul.’ The paintings are matted in taupe and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brushed gold tone finish and a hanging wire. Krimstein studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and later served as the National President of the school’s Alumni Association.
