Andy Warhol Original Serigraph and Teletype from "Flash - November 22, 1963" Portfolio

An original serigraph on wove paper in a serigraph-printed folio by famed American Pop artist Andy Warhol (1928 – 1987) from his 1968 portfolio titled Flash – November 22, 1963. The original portfolio included eleven color serigraphs, each housed in a folded paper with serigraph-printed teletype text describing the continuing media spectacle surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. The text was compiled by reporter Phillip Greer. This is pages 5 and 6 of the teletype text. The text houses the original serigraph included with pages 17 and 18 of the portfolio, featuring a bright red and green collage of images of the president and a movie clapboard. The pieces are unsigned. Included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Prints of Andy Warhol Prints: A Catalogue Raisonné 1962-1987’ Feldman/Schellman / Fourth Edition Revised And Expanded by Frayda Feldman And Claudia Defendi on pages 70 and 213.
