Antique "Fashion No.4" Mantel Clock by Southern Calendar Clock Co

Item Details

An antique ‘Fashion No.4’ mantel clock by The Southern Calendar Clock Co of St Louis. This handsome shelf clock has a walnut case with three turned finials, two side columns and a full length glass door with ‘Fashion’ written in gold script. The top clock face gives the time in Roman numerals and it is marked with a patent date of December 28th 1873. The second clock gives the date and month and it is marked with a patent date of Marth 18th 1879. The original key is included with the clock.

Condition

- works at the time of cataloging
-comes with key and pendulum, finials are not glued down
-some wear to panted faces
- “Fashion” letting is faded
