A collection of twelve vintage humor, comic and monster magazines from the 1960s and 1970s. The humor magazines featured include an issue of Mad magazine from October 1963 with Fidel Castro-themed cover, a JFK-themed ‘Grand Fifth Term Inaugural Issue’ National Lampoon published in February 1977, and an Elvis-themed ‘Down Home’ issue of National Lampoon published in July 1976. Featured comics in this lot include issue #2 of the Gold Key Peanuts series (August 1963), issue #12 of Guerrilla War (Sept. 1965), three issues of the 1970s horror magazine Vampirella (#29 Dec. 1973; #31 March 1974; and #35 Aug. 1974), and issue #9 of Eerie (May 1967). Also featured are several monster magazines including two issues of _Famous Monsters of Filmland (#23 June 1963; #31 Dec. 1964) and issue #8 of _Castle of Frankenstein (1966). These magazines feature content on actors such as Lon Chaney, Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee and Bela Lugosi.
