An original etching hand colored depicting a painting by artist Albert F. Bellows 1829-1883. Title ‘Fording The Stream’, engraved by Loenzo James Hatch 1857-1914.
The artist has successfully conveyed a rich landscape with water way to forground, to lower center we see cattle pulling a hay cart. Meticulous created with intricate line work and hand colored embellishment.
Presented in a wooden frame with platinum accents, under glass, with double mats to edge.
