La Corona and Mourlon Fabi Early 1900s Parisian Opera Glasses
Item Details
A pair of antique Parisian opera glasses by La Corona and Mourlon Fabi, circa the early 1900s. This grouping includes one pair of Mourlon Fabi of Paris opera glasses comprised of brass with a blue coating to the exterior featuring an intricate striped design with small horseshoe motifs throughout, also including a black leather storage case. The other Victorian style pair is made by La Corona of Pairs, which are comprised of brass and inlaid with mother of pearl throughout, including a folding handle to one side as well.
Condition
The La Corona glasses are missing the inlaid mother of pearl pieces throughout, especially to the top along one side. Tarnishing and discoloration to brass on both pairs.
