Grouping of 1950s Relpo Boy Scout Planters
Item Details
A grouping of four ceramic boy scout planters, circa the 1950s, crafted by the Relpo Pottery Company. This collection includes four separate planters with open backs that each appear to be in the shape of a tent with a young boy scout kneeling down in front of it, which have been hand painted in shades of green, red and brown. Two of the planters feature the boys facing toward the left, while the other two face toward the right. Each piece is stamped with the maker’s mark to the underside, along with the pattern number ‘5572’.
Condition
Good / Fair – Fading and chipping to paint throughout, especially on the boy scouts. Would benefit from cleaning.
