Edwardian Lace Day Dress
Item Details
An Edwardian lace day dress. The dress is made of cotton voille. It features a long-sleeved sheer lace top with a v-neck and two chest pockets trimmed with crocheted baubles. There is wide lace at the shoulders which comes down across the bust to the waist. The top falls to approximately mid-shin, and is trimmed with more of the same lace at the hem. Underneath is a white sheer cotton lawn skirt, with horizontal bands. The dress snaps up the back. The cuffs of the sleeves are decorated with the same crocheted baubles as those on the front pockets.
Condition
- discolored- thread pulling and tear at “v” neck; sizable tear on back; pinholes throughout; stains throughout.
