A signed, limited edition White Beauty and Mont Blanc II offset lithographs after Joseph Petro. Lexington, Kentucky native Joseph Petro (American, 1932-2011) served as artist-in-residence at Transylvania University and is known for the Kentucky bicentennial stamp. The lower offset lithograph depicts the French-born Mont Blanc II, a rare white stallion. The offset lithograph is signed in print and also in pencil in the right corner. It is print number 342 and is copyrighted 1969 , by Joseph Petro. The upper offset lithograph depicts White Beauty, a 1963 filly bred by Herman Goodpaster in Kentucky. She glows against the neutral colored stable. The artist’s signature is in the print and in pencil. It is print 346/500 and is copyrighted 1969 by Joseph Petro. The COA for White Beauty is included along with her pedigree.
