"Windy Hill" Watercolor by Hardie Gramatky

An original watercolor painting titled Windy Hill by Hardie Gramatky (1907-1979). In 2007, Gramatky was named ‘one of the 20 all-time great American watercolorists’ by Andrew Wyeth. This particular piece was painted in 1949 and depicts a cityscape atop a hillside against a blue sky with puffy clouds. It is painted in bright hues of blue, red, and green with a signature by hand in the lower right corner. It’s presented behind glass with a white matting and a brown wooden frame.
