A reproduction wine bottle cooler. This white porcelain piece features a molded opening raised botanical design, heads for the handles and fluted pattern above the pedestal style base. The bottom is marked ‘Metropolitan Museum of Art / Reproduction of a Soft-Paste Porcelain Seau a Bouteille or Wine Bottle Cooler Made at St. Cloud, France, about 1725-1740 / Haviland Limoges’.
