Claes Oldenburg Limited Edition Lithograph on Paper from One Cent Life Portfolio

A limited edition lithograph on paper titled Parade of Women (page159-162) by well-listed New York Pop artist Claes Oldenburg (b. 1929) from the ‘One Cent Life’ Portfolio of Pop Art Lithographs written by well-listed Chinese poet Wallace Ting (1929-2010) and edited by well-listed American painter Sam Francis, created in 1964. The image printed by Maurice Beaudet in Paris depicts four female figures with speech bubbles ‘hi’ as the walk towards a male figure with a camera. It is initialed in plate to the lower right. On the verso, there is a collage of photographs of the artist that collaborated in this portfolio.
This is lithograph is number 435 in an edition of 2000 taken from the unbound elephant-folio. The portfolio was published in an edition of 2000 by E.W. Kornfeld in Bern, Switzerland where 100 editions were reserved for New York, Paris, and participants. This lithograph comes from a collection of 62 lithographs and serigraphs in colors on BFK Rives paper by 28 masters of Pop Art and COBRA movements. The portfolio includes work by Andy Warhol, Jim Dine, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana, Tom Wesselmann and many more. The print comes with a certificate of authenticity.
