Item Details

A pair of vintage Italian Borghese chalkware figurines. The pair are in colorful gloss glazes in shades of cream, russet, gold and emerald green, with the female holding a terra cotta urn to her left shoulder and a bunch of grapes in her apron, while the male is holding a basket of fruit to his right shoulder. Both are mounted atop raised round pedestal bases, with tree stump accents. The pieces are marked to the verso.
