Vintage Pair of Portrait Photographs Featuring Sculptures
Item Details
A vintage pair of framed photographs. The photographs in this lot are sepia toned. Each offers an antiquities-portrait treatment of a sculpture made of white marble, in a Queen Anne shaped pendant, matted in blue. One of the subjects is the bust of a woman; the other is a sculpture of a woman seen from mid torso, with arm bent as she lifts a piece of fabric from her shoulder. Presented behind glass, these photographs are housed in composite wood frames and include wire on the verso for hanging.
Condition
- some scuffing and scratches on frames; minor stains to one frame on back; minor cracks in wood on back.
