An offset lithograph on paper of an original drawing by Saul Steinberg (1914-1999) titled View of the World from Ninth Avenue, dated 1976. This piece originally published on the cover of The New Yorker magazine depicts an aerial view of New York City from 9th street and beyond and is signed in plate to the lower right corner. Mounted on top of a black background, the print is under glass in a silver tone metal frame with framer’s stamping and a metal loop for hanging both present to verso.
Condition
- water damage on lower section of the print; few scratches to frame.
