Item Details
A pair of lithograph prints after watercolor paintings by British artist George Ayling (1887-1960). Each depicts the image of human figures strolling through a quaint European town with a majestic cathedral looming in the background. They are plate signed ‘Geo Ayling’ to the lower left and are set in a white mat, presented behind glass in a giltwood frame. The verso of each features a title sticker, one marked Truro and the other marked Evening In…. The sticker on the latter piece is torn, therefore the full title of the piece is not visible.
Condition
Good. Some wear to back and frame, age consistent. One title sticker is torn. Unable to read the full title of the piece.
