A late19th century violin with bow and case. This violin features an updated tailpiece and fingerboard on a classic body. It includes a bow and is housed in a mid-19th century wooden case with green lining. The case is marked ‘Sternberg Armin és Testvére Budapest.’ Armin Sternberg was a luthier in Budapest, Austria-Hungary in the late 19th to early 20th century.

Condition

- violin needs re-strung, missing one string; wear to whole of violin; bow needs re-haired; case is chipped, cracked, and nicked.
