A 1981 edition of Audubon’s Birds Of America: The Audubon Society Baby Elephant Folio. This volume, compiled by Roger Tory Peterson and Virginia Marie Peterson, was published by Abbeville Press, New York. Each of the 435 full color prints have been arranged phylogenetically in relation to the original plate numbers. Several included prints are fold-out. This oversize volume is bound in quarter black spine over linen boards with gilt lettering on the spine. The volume is encased in a linen slipcase with a pictorial front color.
