Item Details
A Victorian era lithograph. The work depicts a bucolic scene with a woman in a grassy meadow, seated on a log, with a sketch pad on her lap, and an admiring gentleman with top hat and jacket, leaving over a fence to the right mid ground. To the artist’s left, are two playful dogs, a pug and a spaniel. The lithograph is in subtle shades of gray, upon a light cream background. The print is displayed under glass in a light cream matte and original oak frame with decorative foliate gesso band.
Condition
good to fair, toning to print at edges, frame missing one section of gesso band
