Set of Three Antique School Desks

Item Details

A collection of three antique school desks. The non-matching antique school desks feature cast iron frames and legs, with wood tops and seats. One desktop has a hole cut into one corner, presumably to hold an ink bottle, and has a hinged cap. The side of one cast iron frame is marked ‘AS Co.’, otherwise, unmarked.

Condition

- all show extensive wear to wood tops, with splits, cracks, stains and grime
- the cast iron bases have extensive rust and pitting
- one desk does not have the desktop mounted on it, but includes all pieces
