A framed photograph of 1984 Kentucky Derby winner Swale. This chromogenic color print on paper shows Swale with his jockey and owners in the winner’s circle. The item is housed in a metal frame, covered with glass, and wired ready to hang. The frame is stamped to the back ‘Frames ’N’ Things – Lousiville’. Swale (1981-1984) was the son of 1977 Triple Crown winner Seattle Slew. Owned by Claiborne Farms and ridden by Laffit Pincay, Jr., Swale died eight days after winning the 1984 Belmont Stakes.
