Two early photographs of New Orleans, by Eugene Delcroix (American, Louisiana, 1891-1967). The smaller photograph depicts the Patio Royal, and is titled ‘Interior, Patio Royal’, c. 1930, a hand-tinted photograph depicting the famed courtyard of the historic Patio Royal, mounted on buff paper, titled to the lower left corner and displayed in a black framed with gilded beaded border and beveled gilded liner. The larger piece is a hand-tinted photograph, depicting the _Little Theater Courtyard, titled in pencil to the margin, and pencil-signed to the lower right corner. This work is matted in double cream mattes with lined borders and narrow gilded frame with green inner filet.
