Roger Tory Peterson Offset Lithograph "Flamingos"

An offset lithograph reproduction of an original painting by very well-known American naturalist and wildlife artist Roy Tory Peterson (1908 – 1996), titled Flamingos. The print depicts two of the stunning birds standing in a shallow pool of water. Their bright pink feathers beautifully contrast their dull foggy surroundings. The print is signed in-plate to the lower right corner. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with various shades of green painted finish. A hanging wire is a sticker from Closson’s Gallery in Cincinnati are attached to the verso.

Condition

- print is slightly faded with age.
