A pair of matching Victorian hinged Wedding bangles in a gold plated finish in a Etruscan Revival design with a decorative intricate openwork panel at the center accented with beadwork on the rim with double lock clasp, and safety chain. The bracelets are stamped 1/20 12K GF to the bracelet catch spring clasp of gold filled chain. Traditionally Wedding bracelets in the Victorian era were given to the bride from her parents before the wedding. The bride would wear them at her wedding, and throughout her life. Then if she had a daughter, she would give one bracelet to her, and then give the next bracelet to the next daughter in the birth order.
