A signed Dennis Loren concert poster featuring the Rockets, Ted Lucas and more. The poster is signed by hand in the lower right hand corner and dates to 1975. Detroit native Dennis Loren (b. 1946) began designing concert posters in 1967. One of his first designs was a poster for Jimi Hendrix. He designed many posters for legendary venues such as The Fillmore, The Avalon Ballroom, The Great American Music Hall, The Matrix, The Warfield, and The Whisky A Go-Go. In later years, he served as art director for the music magazines Blitz!, Goldmine, R.P.M., Cream and Metal as well as creating artwork for record labels and recording artists including Frank Zappa, Brian Wilson. and Muddy Waters.
