Linda Plotkin "Morning Table" Signed Artist's Proof Etching

A signed artist’s proof edition etching titled, Morning Table, by well-listed American painter and printmaker, Linda Plotkin (b.1938), who is best known for her abstract landscape, still life and city scenes, that widely range in style, often with monochromatic color schemes. Plotkin’s work has been exhibited at numerous esteemed institutions and museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This etching depicts a unique still life scene featuring seven milk cartons, all various sizes, that are resting on a table with sunlight from a nearby window casting shadows on the table top, which has a monochromatic palette featuring various shades of blue throughout the entire print. This piece is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin with ‘Artist Proof HC/XX’ to the lower left and the title written in the center. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.

Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
