An original signed limited edition lithograph by listed artist Jean Rene Bazaine (French, 1904-2001). The Abstract Expressionistic black and white work depicts a seascape with a full moon in the cloud-filled skies, and a fishing boat to the left mid ground. The piece is signed to the lower right corner and numbered 46 out of an edition of 150.
Jean Rene Bazaine, born in Paris, first worked in the field of sculpture after studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, then in the painting arena. Bazaine designed stained glass windows, ceramic murals, and religious art for French churches. He is widely exhibited and collected internationally.
