Kunihiro Amano "Enclosure 5" Signed Limited Edition Woodblock Print

A signed limited edition woodblock print titled, Enclosure 5 circa 1965, by Japanese woodblock artist, Kunihiro Amano (天野邦弘, b.1929), who is best known for his works featuring geometric, figural, and semi-abstract subject, often including subtle sexual imagery, which can be found in various corporate and private collections all over the world. This woodblock print depicts a large black rectangle with a single small red square near the bottom, along with several other very dark geometric forms scattered throughout. This piece is pencil signed by the artist in the center of the lower margin with the date in the lower right, which is numbered 19 out of an edition of 30 to the lower left, along with the title. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.

Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
