Pair of 1950s Hummel Plastic Dolls
Item Details
A pair of Hummel plastic dolls from the early to mid 1950s. This set includes a boy doll dressed in a traditional pair of German brown fabric lederhosen, and a girl in a brown and red dress with a weaved straw hat. These dolls are marked to the back of the neck ‘M.J. Hummel’ and to the bottom of one shoe ‘Made in Germany’. The girl doll is additionally marked to her back ‘W. Goebel’ with the Goebel full bee mark, which dates this doll between 1950 to 1955.
Condition
- stains, cracks, and discoloration to both dolls; boy doll’s head and arm are broken off; chips to the paint.
