An antique 19th-century stone lithograph titled Napoléon 1er. Empereur des Français et sa Famille, published in 1896. The beautifully rendered imagery is a montage of Napoléon’s family’s portraits, beginning with his own at the top. In the lower margin, a numbered key identifies each person represented. All text is printed in French. This historical print is protected behind antique glass in a beveled wood frame with carved details and a distressed gilt finish.

Condition

- to fair. Condition consistent with age. Discoloration and light foxing across print. Tears and creases throughout. Finish of frame is worn with abrasions along faces and corners. Mitered corners are separating.
