Antique to Vintage Dough Mixer

Item Details

An antique to vintage dough mixer. The wooden structure features a removable rectangular lid with a knob and chamfered corners, metal buttressing on the shoulders, a deep, half round rectangular well, and four legs with stretchers. A geared cast iron crank on the right shoulder drives a set of four pierced paddles in the well. A small hole on the bottom left allows liquid to escape via a metal spout on the shoulder. Gears worked upon testing. Piece has a dark brown finish.

- Wear and scratches consistent with use; some scruffs around the rim; missing the crank handle
