A pair of Alexandria Skordas 1999 and 2000 offset lithographs after Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. The 1999 piece shows a resort pool and water slide castle, and the sunny image is filled with palm trees, open umbrellas, deck chairs and people in warm weather clothing and bathing suits. The predominate colors are aqua blue, purple, green and sand tone. It is signed in the plate to the left corner ’Disney’s Vero Beach Resort’ and to the right corner, ‘Alexandria Skordas 1999’. The image is housed in a white and gold tone composite wood frame, covered in glass, and comes with a sawtooth hook for hanging. A label on the verso reads ‘Print No. 503 – Print Size 16 × 20’. The other Skordas piece focuses on a large body of white sand edged by a sand dune of green grasses, with a cloudy blue sky above, and a small sliver of aqua and blue ocean in the distance. Sunbathers fill chairs under green and white umbrellas. A resort building can be seen in the background to the left. The work is signed in the plate in the lower left corner ’Disney’s Vero Beach Resort’ and to the lower right corner ‘Alexandria Skordas 2000’. A matching frame houses this work, and on the verso is a label that ‘Print No. 507 – Print Size 11 × 14’. A sawtooth hanger is attached to the backing.
