24K 1915 Austrian 4-Ducat Coin Re-Strike Pendant with 14K Gold Coin Holder and Pendant Eye

An Austrian gold four-ducat re-strike dated 1915. The coin is composed of 24 carat gold. Originally issued in the Kingdom of Austria during the early 17th century, these re-strikes were struck from 1920 to 1936. Mintage: 996,721. The observe depicts Emperor Franz Joseph I in profile and the inscription “FRANC IOS I D G AUSTRIAE IMPERATOR.” The reverse depicts the arms of Austria, a crowned double-headed Imperial eagle and the inscriptions “HUNGAR BOHEM GAL LOD ILL REX A A 1915 (4). The total weight is 9.9 dwt inclusive of the 14K gold coin holder and pendant eye.
