A vintage 1926 wood engraving titled Avenue du Bois de Boulogne, designed and engraved by French illustrator Jean Routier. The image depicts a stately man and woman riding their galloping horses side by side down the aforementioned French avenue, while other inhabitants of the town line the sidewalk in the distance, going about their daily activities. Title is printed to the lower center. Artist signature is signed in pencil to the lower right. The print is mounted behind white mat, under glass in a rounded wood frame.

Condition

- to fair. Heavy discoloration across print and mat. Foxing on mat. Finish of frame is worn.
