Pair of Antique Drypoint Etchings of Dutch Pastoral Landscapes

A pair of antique late 19th-century drypoint etchings depicting Dutch pastoral landscapes with windmills and country cottages, by artists Alfred Hopkins and Charles Gondel. Each print includes a small etched remarque illustration to bottom margin. Each print is copyrighted by B. T. Babbitt in 1895, as indicated by fine printed cursive to upper left. Artist names are etched in cursive to lower right margins. The prints are presented identically behind hand-rolled antique glass in antique beveled wood frames.

Condition

- discoloration across each print, with moisture stains and rippling near outer edges. Surface damage to edges and corners of each frame.
