Vintage Trolley Catcher

Item Details

A vintage trolley catcher. This pulley is composed of red painted metal which is clasped shut by two sets of washers. A repository for rope is seen at the front and back side, wrapping around in a spool. The top is pressed with a low relief that reads ‘Trolley B Catcher, US Patent 8-8-1818, 10-21-1824’.
