An original oil on board painting by listed Detroit artist Lisa Rigstad (currently active). Lisa is a fearless survivor of breast cancer and spends much of her time raising funds for others also battling the disease. This delicate piece was painted in 1999, around the time she was diagnosed. A simple serene depiction of a fish on a plate in calming hues of green, beige and white. Her signature is a bit inconspicuous as she has signed this along the edge of the tile board, which is further concealed by the permanently attached frame.
