A vintage Singer sewing machine. The manual for using this straight-stitch, portable machine, included in this lot, is marked ‘221’, and comes with a screw driver and a metal accessory for this model. The body and base of the Singer machine is black, with gold tone detailing at the edges, and silver tone metal hardware. The machine is marked on a gold tone trademark medallion ‘The Singer Manfg. Co.’ The sewing motor is marked ‘Cat. 3-120 – 110-120 Volts – 0.4 Amp. – 25-75 Cycles – The Singer Mfg. Co. – Elizabethport, N.J. – Made In U.S.A.’ The carrying case features a looped handle and two metal latches. The electric cord with the two prong plug is attached to the body of the machine; an electric cord attaches the pedal mechanism to the sewing machine.
