Antique George IV Monogrammed Sterling Silver Ladles
Item Details
A pair of antique sterling silver ladles. The ladles feature circular bowls, a sharply upturned post, and a wide handle with a ‘W’ monogram. The undersides feature Edinburgh, Scotland hallmarks including the maker’s mark for ‘T. Bartie’ along with ‘AE’ which is likely for Adam Elder. Marks also include the Thistle standard mark, the duty mark for King George IV and the date mark for 1826. They weigh approximately 2.61 ozt.
