A Japanese restrike ukiyo-e woodblock print on paper after a woodblock print titled Kawasaki: Tsurumi River and Namamugi Village (川崎: 鶴見川生麦の里 Kawasaki, Tsurumigawa Namamugi no sato) the third print in the series Famous Sights of the Fifty-three Stations (五十三次名所図会 Gojūsan tsugi meisho zue) by Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川広重, 1797 – 1858) originally published in 1855. Depicted on the left is Namamugi Village with a bridge extending from the right of the compositions. Rafts and boats are sailing down the Tsurumi River that winds through the print. In the distance Mt. Fuji is depicted completely white differentiating it from the mountain range. The series title, print title, and subtitle are printed within cartouches in the upper right corner. The artist’s ‘Hiroshige hitsu’ (広重筆) signature is printed within a red cartouche in the lower left corner. Below this are a zodiacal date seal (Hare 7), an aratame censor seal, and a Tsutaya Kichizō publisher seal. This vintage restrike print comes presented under glass in an off-white mat and black painted wooden frame. To the verso, a framers decal is located on the bottom and hanging wire is present but unattached to one side of the frame.

- minor wear to frame; foxing to print; frame is no longer attached in three corners; wear to backing; broken hanging wire.
