Antique, Civil War Veteran Themed, Hand Embroidered Crazy Quilt

Item Details

A hand stitched and embroidered crazy quilt with a center hand- painted lion motif patch. This quilt has war veteran theme and is embroidered in different areas with: initials ‘J.B.’, ‘W.R.C’, and ‘Gen. Lyons, 1892’. This includes: a printed silk patch for the Women’s Relief Corps 1883; and a printed silk that says St. Louis Sons of Veterans Sept 17, 1881. The quilt has a maroon velvet border and is backed with yellow silk.
