Double Filled Geode Specimen

Item Details

A double filled geode specimen. This piece features two geodes stacked on top of one another; the polished face reveals that both geode centers have been almost entirely filled with blue-gray cryptocrystalline bands. A few clear to gray crystals remain. The exterior of the specimen is covered in a gray-brown geode matrix.

Condition

- some natural cracks along the surface.
