A Chippendale style cedar hope chest by Lane. Marked ‘Lane Altavista, Virginia’ to the underside of the lid, the chest features brass drawer pulls along the front and stands on cabriole style legs below. A single drawer with dovetail construction is located along the lower portion of the chest.
