A collection of Lenox porcelain elephant figurines. Featured is a circa 1985 Lenox Elephants: Asia figurine from the Wildlife of the Seven Continents series, depicting a mother Asian elephant linking trunks with her calf as they walk along a grassy dirt path. The figure is marked ‘Lenox, Fine Porcelain, Hand Crafted in Japan’ to the underside. Also featured is a 1997 Lenox Tears of Joy figure of a sitting African elephant wiping tears away. The piece is marked ‘Lenox, 1997, Handcrafted in China’ to the bottom. The collection also includes a 1999 Lenox Shuffling figure of an African elephant calf in mid-stride, marked ‘Made in Philippines’.
